Juliet Swann is an experienced policy and parliamentary affairs professional and human rights, environmental justice and democracy campaigner.
Her successes include writing the chapter on adaptation for the Climate Change (Scotland) Act; contributing to a Supreme Court intervention to secure better access to justice in environmental issues and planning and running a citizen led inquiry into what makes a good Scottish democracy.
She is passionate about empowering citizens to understand their rights, utilise them effectively and to participate fully in our democracy. She is a psephologist, feminist and advocate for equal opportunities.
She relishes explaining complex issues, has commented on electoral administration on both television and radio, and is an accomplished Scottish political commentator.
